How does the reverse auction work?

The reverse auction is enabled when more than 6 room nights are requested. (In one or more rooms)

The reverse auction requires at least three hotels that have availability and wish to participate to ensure a convenient rate. The system preselects those establishments that have the necessary rooms.

Once you select the three hotels that you want to compete for your stay, JIPT will send communications to these hotels, inviting them to participate. JIPT will give a limit of 72 hours for the selected and invited hotels to accept to participate in the auction.

If after that time there are not at least three hotels that have agreed to participate, the minimum number of participating hotels will not have been reached, for which reason JIPT will send you a corresponding communication, requesting you to select other hotels.

In the event that the minimum of three hotels has been reached, the reverse auction will only starts from this point. From that moment on, you will receive a communication each time there is an improvement in your rate. In the case of having been the winner, one more at the end of the reverse auction, reporting all the details.

All JIPT processes, as well as offers from hoteliers or you, are a commitment for each of the parties and will be carried out in good faith.
